For the design pattern research i looked for different types of interfaces with data visualisations.
Many of these interfaces where based on dashboard type of interfaces where the object is the center of the screen and the information and buttons in columns next each other left and right.
To compare data the radar chart is used very often to show the differences between two data categories. The line chart is often used to visualize a particular trend or movement through time.
Facial recognition pattern is mainly visualized by dots and lines on faces.
To visualize different sizes in data you can use bubble chart to show differences in a glance.
